Qualified and experienced counselors teach campers the basics of canoeing and kayaking in a safe, fun and supportive environment. There's no better place to be on a hot summer's day than on the water enjoying Lake Ramsey, so join us!

Who can participate? Anyone aged 6-11 who wants to have a wild & wacky time on the water! No previous paddling experience is necessary. Our experienced counselors are always happy to introduce the sport to beginners! We say the more paddlers on Ramsey, the better!

Campers are required to demonstrate an ability to swim. Additionally, your child must be six years of age prior to attending camp. If we suspect that your child is younger, we may ask for proof of age.

What does a typical day look like?

• 8:30- 9 am Drop-off at Sudbury Canoe Club. Yahoo!

• 8:30 am Warm-Up Games.

• 10:00am Canoe Skills.

• 10:30am Canoe Games & Activities.

• 12:00pm Lunch Break. 12:30pm Low Key Activities (while we digest the healthy, scrumptious lunches packed by Mom and Dad).

• 1:30pm Kayak Skills or SUP

• 2:00pm Kayak Games & Activities.

• 3:00pm Swimming

• 3:30pm Dry off, clean up and get ready to go home.

• 4:00-4:30pm Pick up. But don’t be sad! You’ll be back tomorrow!

• STAFF ONSITE 8:30 AM-4:30 PM

• Register your child for an additional week by simply selecting another week before proceeding to checkout.

Refund Policy: There is no refund available once the camp has started. If cancellation is done at least 2 weeks before the start of the camp, then a refund will be issued less a $50 administration fee. If cancellation is done within 2 weeks prior to the start of the camp, a refund will be issued less 50% of the camp fee. Cancellation the Friday before the camp starts will not qualify for a refund.
